Crevice tests of Hastelloy C22 Ring Joint Type Flanges were performed in both still (quiescent) and flowing seawater, at 29 Degrees C, plus or minus 3 Degrees C. As is evident from the following results, Hastelloy C22 Nippo Flanges are much more resistant to this form of attack than the comparative, austenitic stainless steels.
