SA 335 Grade P5 Alloy Steel Pipe, A335 gr p5 Chrome Pipe exporter
ASTM A335 P5 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe is part of the A335 family of high performance ferritic alloy steel with chromium and molybdenum in the content. The material can perform at high temperatures and there are different grades such as p5, p9, p11, p22 and p91. The material has carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, 8% chromium and molybdenum in the mixture. The SA 335 Grade P5 Alloy Steel Pipe has similar strength to most austenitic stainless steel grades with 205MPa minimum yield strength and 415MPa minimum tensile strength. The ASTM A335 P5 Pipe can be full annealed or isothermal annealed, normalized and tempered as the heat treatment to improve hardness. There are welded and seamless pipes in the grade and the A335 P5 Welded Pipe has varying wall thicknesses and diameters. The size range of the pipes is from 1/8 inches to 42 inches. There are schedules 20 through XXH and heavier as well. ASTM A335 Gr. P5 Steel Pipes may be furnished bare or coated and with capped ends. Tubes and pipes up to 3” OD will be supplied in bundles. In order to prevent rust during sea shipment, bundles of ASTM A335 Gr. P5 tubes may be wrapped with polypropylene sheets, and secured with flat steel bands. Over 3” OD will be supplied loose.
